Biography
I am British, married and have been living in New Zealand since 1970. We have three children, four grandchildren and I am a retired Social Worker and Probation Officer.
My Master of Philosophy from Massey University Auckland is in history. Other academic qualifications include a Postgraduate Diploma in Theology, and a Graduate Diploma in Ethics from Auckland University and a Bachelor of Theology from Sydney College of Divinity.
Three of my books have been published in New Zealand and two more are ready for publishing, with another still being written.
I have a particular interest in history, Catholic Church history being of specific interest, and that topic concerns the three as yet unpublished works. My adherence to Catholic Tradition has prompted my writing on the Second Vatican Council, prominent Catholic leaders and the Mass. As Secretary of the Ecclesia Dei Society New Zealand, I was a council member of the International Federation Una Voce (FIUV) attending three Convocations in Rome.
Also, I have published a booklet, with assistance from Association of Catholic Women New Zealand, commemorating an important Vatican document, The Truth and Meaning of Human Sexuality. I have led this Association since its inception, over two decades ago. We presented a public seminar Final Grace of State v Culture of Death in 2010, which had theological approval.
Pro-life issues have been a particular concern of mine and I was a member of the New Zealand Society for the Protection of the Unborn Child Executive Committee for a number of years, hosting a radio programme that discussed pro-life and other issues.
